Image Border Trimming, Padding and Rounding was built based on Image Creator Scratchpad however
Image Border Trimming, Padding and Rounding has mainly the features related to creating or trimming image borders
and adding padding to images.
Image Border Trimming, Padding and Rounding runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1, 10 and 11 both 32-bit and 64-bit versions
It also has all the base features of Image Creator Scratchpad like dragging images,
cropping images, rotating images, etc.

The Image Border Trimming, Padding and Rounding application comes with 30 Public Domain images which you use
to easily test the application's features: creating or trimming image borders and adding padding to Images.
The 30 Public Domain images are included in the 'My' tab of the application which can work with multiple folders
which you can use to store your own images for easy access, for example to add an image to the canvas
from the 'My' tab, you simply click that image.
Being built based on Image Creator Scratchpad, this application also allows easy and time saving manipulation
for your own images and can be used to create image sceneries, based on images created from scratch,
from other images on your hard-drive or from your own imported images.
The Image Border Trimming, Padding and Rounding application also features image rotation, image resizing,
image filtering (there are a few filters available in the Quick Filters context menu), image duplication,
dragging images across the canvas, quick canvas scrolling, generating an image based on all images on
the canvas as well as a section (the 'My' tab) to store your preferred images which can be later added
to the canvas by a simple click of the mouse.
The final image can be saved as PNG to preserve transparency. You can also save the image under the following formats:
WMF, TIFF, MEMORYBMP, EXIF, EMF, BMP and JPG.

The instructions below are meant to provide a quick overview of how to use the application, however for a complete view, please check the online help files of this application: Read the Help files
Main Screen -
Once you start the application, you are presented with the canvas
on the left and the 2 tabs ('My' and 'Options') on the right.
To see the existing images in the 'My' tab, you need to click the Load button.
The images in the 'My' tab are not loaded automatically at program's start-up
so that the application will load faster.
To scroll up and down to see all images in the 'My' panel, you can hover the mouse near the top
(for scrolling up) and bottom (for scrolling down) of the panel/section containing the
built-in images.
For scrolling, you can also click the panel containing the images and then either
use the UP and DOWN arrow keys or the Page Up and Page Down keys.
To add an image to the canvas, simply click that image.
You can right click the canvas or an individual image to see more options.
To make the canvas bigger, right click it, and select "Show/Hide Right Side Controls" however
if you want to increase its pixel size, go to the Options tab and use the sliders under the
Scratchpad Dimensions section.
My Images Screen - After having built a part of your final image or the final image itself,
you can right click the Canvas and select "New Image" -> "From Entire Canvas" (make sure
the background of the canvas is Transparent for this to work correctly).
This will add to the canvas, an image of the current canvas content.
Then you can right click this newly added image and add it to the "My Images" section in the
folder which is currently active. You can have as many folders as you like in the
"My Images" section (just press the "Add New" button).
You can scroll the folders in the "My Images" section using the top left
and right buttons in that section.
For easier scrolling among "My Images" folders it is advisable to keep
a few hundred images (instead of thousands of images) inside each folder.
Options Screen - In this screen you have options like
"Save Image To Disk", "Refresh Preview", "Set Scratchpad Color",
"Set Transparent Background", "Clear Scratchpad", "Help Files",
set the scratchpad dimensions and a few more, see images below.

Padding images
You can pad images either padding all image sides in the same time or padding each image side individually (one at a time).
To padd all sides in the same time, add an image on the canvas, right click that image and then choose the "Pad All Sides (Add Paddin On All Sides Of The Images)".
The other padding menu options each opens a small window allowing the padding of all sides: top, left, right, bottom.
Here are a few examples of padded images:
Rounding corners
There are two types of rounded corners you can create for an image:
- outter rounded corners: you can cut a portion of the image using a resizable ellipse.
and
- inner rounded corners: the image does have normal external corners but it has a circle around it,
the bigger the radius of the circle, the higher the inner image area that gets covered by the circle.
Outter rounded corners
To get these, right-click on the image, and select the "Crop This Image" window, that will open the "Crop Specific Image" menu option, select the "Ellipse" radio button in that window, click the "Start" button (which will turn into the "Stop" button) and click the image to add an ellipse, after adding the ellipse inside the image, you can click the "Stop" button (which will turn into the "Start" button). You can resize the ellipse normally to cut the image you want from the image which contains that ellipse.

Right-click the image and select the "Border Trimming (Trimms Image Borders)" menu option,
that will open the "Border Trimming" window.
Using it you can delete the borders of images as following:
- borders which are transparent on all image sides
- borders which have the same color on all image sides (here you only specify from which corner to take the color):
0/0 (x=0/y=0) or 0/Max (x=0/y=Max) or Max/0 (x=Max/y=0) or Max/Max (x=Max/y=0)
- borders which have a specific color on any side
